For
Noble - a memorial celebration
For those of you who haven't heard the sad news, Noble Barker
passed away on June 10. There will be a memorial celebration for him
on Saturday,
August 7, 2010, at 3:00pm at the ECA Arts Hall, 55 Audubon St., New
Haven. It
will be a potluck so please bring finger food, sweet or savory
(nothing requiring utensils).
As well as being the tireless and much-loved founding Artistic
Director of the New Haven Ballet, Noble was a very supportive member
of CDA's Board of Directors and a recipient of the CDA Distinguished
Achievement Award 2008. We will miss his wise and generous advice
and we are not the same without him.
